About Honolulu Airport
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), formerly known as Honolulu International Airport, is owned and operated by the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation. The airport is located 16 kilometres to the north of Waikiki. Click here for cheap flights to Honolulu.

Taxi - The fare from the airport to Waikiki is approximately USD $45.00 depending on traffic. There can often be a baggage charge of $0.50 per bag.
Public Transport - A city bus service arrives and departs from the airport approximately every 30 mins. An express shuttle service is also available.
Car Hire - There are six car rental companies located on airport – Advantage, Avis, Budget, Enterprise and National, with counters located in the Baggage Claim area.
Check-in
Check-in counters are located on level 2 of Terminals 1 and 2, and the ground level of Terminal 3. A number of airlines also offer curbside check-in. Please check with your airline if this service is available.
Money Exchange
ICE Currency Exchange booths are located in the International arrivals areas, as well as both the Diamond Head and Ewa ends of Terminal 2. There are also ATMs conveniently located throughout all terminals. Alternatively, you can pre-purchase your US dollars in the form of cash or a MasterCard Cash Passport from Travel Money.

There are five Flight Deck Business Centers at Daniel K. Inouye International airport. Services available include Wi-Fi access, Computer Stations, Mailing/Shipping, Phone cards, Fax sending/receiving, Travel Accessories, Office Supplies and Mobile Phone accessories.
Internet Access
Travellers can receive unlimited free Wi-Fi sponsored by advertisers, or can purchase a subscription through Boingo.
There are also computers available in Terminal 2 near Gate F2 and Gate E3, and Terminal 1 near Gate B5 and Gates A19 and A15.

A free transportation service is available to transport passengers between the terminals and stops at the main lobby area, outlying gates, baggage claim and the Interisland Terminal. This can be arranged through your airline.
