Frequently asked questions

Costa sails in several of the world’s top cruising destinations, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, the United Arab Emirates, South America and more. It also offers transoceanic and global journeys that allow you to explore multiple continents in a single trip.

Meals are included in all cruise fares, but drinks (coffee, soft drinks and cocktails) need to be purchased at the ship’s bars and restaurants. Alternatively, you can buy special drinks packages separately — or book either the All-Inclusive or Deluxe fares, which include beverage packages and other privileges.

In addition to family-friendly entertainment (such as water slides, rope adventure parks and minigolf courses), Costa Cruises has onboard kids’ clubs and teen clubs. Activities vary depending on the ship and season, but may include arts and crafts, treasure hunts and sports tournaments.

Yes, Costa Cruises offers excursions at each of the European ports and exotic destinations that it sails to. You can choose from cultural tours, food tours, active tours, family tours and more.

Costa’s ships and itineraries have been created with responsible travel in mind. The cruise line has equipped its luxury liners with sustainable waste collection and water purification systems — and has almost completely eliminated the use of disposable plastics on board. Plus, some ships (the Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana) are fueled by liquefied natural gas to help reduce emissions.

In addition, the excursions offered by Costa Cruises respect environments and local communities.

If the Mediterranean lifestyle appeals to you, Costa is an excellent choice. Headquartered in Genoa, it takes an Italian-style approach to cruising — everything from the décor to the cuisine is steeped in Italian hospitality and charm, creating a unique onboard experience for passengers.

Every ship in the Costa fleet has fitness and wellness facilities, including jogging tracks, sports areas, indoor and outdoor gyms, yoga and Pilates studios, solariums, swimming pools and hot tubs. There is also a spa and beauty salon aboard each vessel, allowing you to indulge in therapeutic massages, manicures and other relaxing activities.

You can book Costa Cruises itineraries right here on our website, in store or by speaking to one of our cruise experts on the phone.

Diverse entertainment and leisure venues can be found aboard every Costa Cruises ship. This includes theatres, casinos, arcade rooms, minigolf courses, water parks and more

Costa Cruises’ cancellation penalties vary based on your cruise fare, your cancellation date and other factors. Please refer to the cruise line’s General Conditions or contact your Flight Centre cruise expert for more information.
