The Promoter
The promoter is Flight Centre Travel Group Limited trading as Flight Centre (NZ) Ltd of 124 Vincent Street, Auckland ("Promoter").
Conditions of Entry
Eligibility information and the prize offered form part of these Conditions of Entry. An individual that renders themself an Eligible Entrant is deemed to have accepted these Conditions of Entry.
Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older, who comply with the requirements set out in the "Eligibility for Promotion" terms stated in these Conditions of Entry ("Eligible Entrants"). Employees of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited, its related bodies corporate, and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.
Duration of Promotional Period
The promotion commences at 10:00am on Saturday, 01 March 2025 NZT and closes at 11:59pm on Monday, 31 March 2025 NZT ("Promotion Period"). One (1) Prize Winner will be drawn from the pool of Eligible Entrants.
Eligibility for Promotion
Eligible Entrants will be those who during the Promotion Period:
(a) Register their details in-store or online at flightcentre.co.nz/p/subscribe before 31 March 2025.
Any costs associated with accessing the Promotion remain the responsibility of each entrant.
When registering their details, Eligible Entrants are agreeing to receive email, post, and mobile text message updates from the Promoter (and/or its related bodies corporate), from which they can opt-out at any time.
An individual who complies with these eligibility requirements will receive one entry only in the Promotion.
Selection of "Prize Winner"
There will be one (1) Prize Winner selected from the Eligible Entrants across the Promotion Period.
The Prize Winner will be determined by a random [computer-generated] prize draw completed after 1 April 2025. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s Head Office located at 124 Vincent Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, at 10:00am NZT on 1 April 2025. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in case an ineligible entrant is drawn. The Prize Winner need not be present at the draw.
The Prize Winner will be contacted by the Promoter via email or telephone beginning on 1 April 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The Prize Winner will have 14 days to claim the prize. If the prize has not been claimed by the Prize Winner before 5:00pm on 15 April 2025, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 10:00am NZT on 16 April 2025 at the Promoter’s Head Office, 124 Vincent Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010. The unclaimed prize draw will be a random [computer-generated] prize draw. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by email or telephone on the day of the unclaimed prize draw. All terms applicable to the Prize Winner will also apply to any winner of an unclaimed prize draw.
Eligible Entrants who participate in the Promotion (including by accepting a Prize) consent to their name being announced on the www.flightcentre.co.nz website, in Flight Centre email newsletters, and www.facebook.com/flightcentreNZ if they are selected as the Prize Winner or the winner of an unclaimed prize draw.
The Promoter's decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result of the promotion.
Prize Details
The Prize consists of:
- Return economy-class flights for two (2) from Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch to Dublin.
- Two (2) nights twin-share accommodation in Dublin.
- A nine-day Irish Discovery Cosmos tour for two (2), departing from Dublin on 21 August 2025.
Travel dates are from 19–31 August 2025.
Travel must be confirmed by the Prize Winner no later than 30 April 2025.
The Prize is subject to availability and at the discretion of Flight Centre. Travel must be booked before 30 April 2025, and travel must be completed by 31 August 2025. Any alterations to the prize will be at the prize winner’s expense. Additional expenses, including but not limited to transfers to the closest New Zealand departure point, travel insurance, meals, spending money, visas, and vaccinations, are the responsibility of the prize winner. Blackout dates apply.
The Prize is non-transferable, cannot be sold, and is not redeemable for cash or foreign exchange. The Prize Winner and travelling companions are subject to the terms and conditions of carriage of the suppliers for each component of the selected prize. The Prize Winner and companions must travel together.
General Conditions
Flight Centre reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
- inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
- purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected, or stolen, or that are received but are late, illegible, incomplete, or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
- any problems or technical failures of any kind;
- the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion;
- unauthorised human intervention in any part of the promotion;
- electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the promotion;
- any loss suffered or sustained to person or property in connection with the prize, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
By participating, entrants agree to release the Promoter from any liability, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Entry or to cancel, alter, or amend the promotion at any stage if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
This promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
