This road trip takes you on an incredible journey from the lush rainforest of Vancouver to the majestic Rockies, showcasing breathtaking landscapes along the way. Starting with 3 nights in Vancouver, explore the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge before heading to Whistler for 2 nights, where alpine beauty awaits. En route, take in the stunning views from the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish Town. As you travel through the varied landscapes, including canyons, valleys, and towering peaks, you'll spend 2 nights in Sun Peaks, a serene alpine village. After a night in Valemount, continue to Jasper for 2 nights to immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, before concluding with a night in Edmonton. This road trip is a perfect blend of outdoor adventures, with a dramatic shift from coastal rainforests to the rugged, awe-inspiring beauty of the Rockies.

Day 1

Upon arrival in Vancouver, check into your hotel and take some time to explore this vibrant, cosmopolitan city. Stroll through Stanley Park and along the Seawall, where you'll be treated to beautiful views of the ocean and towering mountains. In the evening, head to Granville Island for dinner, sampling local cuisine and browsing the artisan shops and markets.

Day 2

After breakfast, head to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you can walk across the iconic suspension bridge and explore the treetop walkways high in the forest canopy. The views of the rainforest and the river below are truly breathtaking. In the afternoon, head to Grouse Mountain for more stunning vistas of the city, or take a hike up the Grouse Grind if you're feeling adventurous. End your day with dinner in Yaletown, one of Vancouver's most trendy neighbourhoods.

Day 3

Spend today discovering more of what Vancouver has to offer. Visit the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park or head to the Vancouver Art Gallery to admire the diverse collection of art. If you're looking for a unique experience, take a walk through the vibrant Chinatown, one of the oldest in North America. For lunch, head to the nearby markets, and enjoy fresh, local food. In the evening, dine at a waterfront restaurant, taking in the beautiful views of the harbor as the sun sets.

Day 4

Begin your scenic drive to Whistler. On your way, stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to see the spectacular waterfalls. Once you reach Whistler, check into your accommodation and explore the pedestrian village, known for its charming boutiques and lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Day 5

Start your day with a ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, offering breathtaking views of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Afterward, take the opportunity to explore the hiking trails or, in the winter, enjoy skiing or snowboarding on Whistler's famous slopes. In the afternoon, unwind with a visit to the Audain Art Museum, which showcases local and indigenous art. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of Whistler's renowned restaurants, offering great food and stunning mountain views.

Day 6

This morning, begin your journey to Sun Peaks, traveling through the Fraser Valley and the picturesque towns of Hope and Merritt. The drive offers opportunities to stop along the way to enjoy the rugged landscapes and beautiful scenery. Upon arriving in Sun Peaks, check into your accommodation and spend the evening exploring this alpine village, known for its peaceful atmosphere and outdoor activities.

Day 7

Enjoy a full day in Sun Peaks, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Hike or bike through the scenic alpine terrain or, in the winter months, hit the slopes for skiing or snowboarding. For a more relaxing afternoon, visit the Nordic spa or take a scenic drive to enjoy the surrounding views. As the day winds down, enjoy a cozy dinner in the village, taking in the peaceful ambiance and excellent cuisine.

Sun Peaks

Day 8

This morning, drive through the Cariboo Mountains and head towards Valemount, a small-town famous for its stunning views of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. On your way, take in the breathtaking scenery of forests, rivers, and valleys. Once you arrive in Valemount, take some time to explore the area before enjoying a peaceful evening. The clear skies here make it a perfect spot for stargazing.

Day 9

Drive from Valemount to Jasper National Park, entering the heart of the Canadian Rockies. On the way, stop at the dramatic Athabasca Falls to admire the power of the river as it crashes down the canyon. Continue along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in the world, as you make your way toward Jasper. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and relax. In the evening, explore the town of Jasper or enjoy a quiet night in the stunning natural surroundings.

Day 10

Start your day with a ride on the Jasper SkyTram, which offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountain peaks. For a more immersive experience, take a hike on one of the many scenic trails around Jasper or take a boat cruise on Maligne Lake to visit the famous Spirit Island. Afterward, unwind at the Miette Hot Springs, the hottest natural springs in the Canadian Rockies. In the evening, enjoy a delicious meal at one of Jasper's local restaurants, offering fresh, regional flavours.

Day 11

Leave the tranquillity of Jasper behind and head south toward Edmonton. The drive offers beautiful views of the Rockies and Alberta's expansive wilderness. Upon arrival in Edmonton, check into your hotel and explore the city. You can visit the West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping mall in North America, or take a walk along the picturesque River Valley. In the evening, head to Old Strathcona for a lively dinner scene with local pubs, cafes, and live music.

Day 12

On your final day, take a little time to explore more of Edmonton before heading to the airport for your departure. Visit the Royal Alberta Museum to learn more about the region's history and culture or enjoy a peaceful walk in the River Valley parks before saying goodbye to this incredible adventure.
