Small Group Tours

At Flight Centre, we LOVE touring. Having someone else organise your accommodation, itinerary, day trips and transfers? Sounds ideal. We also understand that some travellers can get turned off by the thought of massive tour buses trucking a bounty of eager tourists from one spot to another. If this sounds like you, rest assured that you can have your cake and eat it too with our latest range of small group tour packages....

Frequently asked questions

Small group tours are travel experiences with a limited number of participants. Group numbers will vary between tour providers, but you can expect anywhere from 10-15 people, compared to the 50+ that can often be found with bigger tour companies.

Some small group tour packages include flights, while others do not. Check the package details and chat with your Flight Centre Travel Expert to include flights in your booking.

Yes, many of our small group tours offer family-friendly activities, experiences and accommodation. If in doubt, chat with your local Flight Centre travel expert to find the right tour option for your family.

Visa requirements vary by destination. Check specific visa requirements for each country online or by chatting with your Flight Centre Travel Expert.

Most small group tours will include a few meals, however full inclusions will vary between packages. Check your itinerary to confirm what is included for your trip so that you can prepare accordingly for the remainder of the meals.

Yes, our small group tours prioritise safety with experienced guides and secure accommodation. If in doubt, we recommend you follow travel advisories, keep up to date with local guidelines and use common sense. (P.S. Don’t forget to grab some travel insurance, that way you’re covered in case something does go wrong).

The best time to book a tour is usually several months in advance to secure your spot and get the best rates. Many tour companies will offer deals throughout the year, so if you’re after a bargain we recommend doing some research and having a bit more flexibility around your preferred travel dates.

Pack according to the destination's climate and prioritise essentials like comfortable clothing, walking shoes, weather protection, travel documents and medication. A smaller backpack can also be super useful for carrying your day-to-day essentials, documents and snacks.

Tours range from a few days to several weeks, depending on the itinerary. Got more time up your sleeve? Chat with our travel experts about extending your trip or even tacking on another tour.

Travel insurance is generally not included in the tour package itself. With that in mind, it’s still an important part of your holiday, so chat with our Travel Experts about including it as part of your booking total.
